What we collect
Full name, Eswatini national ID number, email address and phone number.
A live selfie photo, a photo of your ID document, and both thumbprints, used only for identity/biometric verification.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) clearance certificate you or our staff provide, and its recorded outcome.
Where used for a specific case, a note of any published court judgment a staff member has reviewed on EswatiniLII as supplementary research.
Why we collect it
To verify your identity and track your criminal-record clearance status for the purpose you selected (employment,
professional licensing, or ride-hailing driver onboarding), and only with your explicit consent.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2022 you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal
information, and may withdraw consent for future processing at any time by contacting our Information Officer.
The Act is enforced by the Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM).
